My name is Calvin and I’m currently a software development manager at BeyondTrust working on a new and upcoming product. Previously, I was an engineering manager and software engineer at HashiCorp, where I worked on Vault and HCP Vault Secrets.

I’ve had a passion for technology ever since I was able to spin up private servers and mod games as a teenager. This interest led me to experimenting with Arduinos and spending too much money on components from SparkFun, which kicked off my undergraduate studies as an Electrical Engineer. While I had fun building robots and racecars, I still found coding just a little bit more enjoyable, so I eventually switched to a C.S. degree and stuck with software ever since.

When I’m not coding 💻 or playing computer games 👾, you’ll likely find me on a run 🏃 outside training for marathons.
